Dr Philomina Thomas Print E-mail


Philomina Thomas qualified as a nurse in 1982, from Nazareth Hospital, Mokama, Bihar, India. In 1985 she joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences as a Staff Nurse. In 1999 she completed the B.Sc. Nursing course at Indira Gandhi National Open University, India. In 2005 she completed the Master of Nursing course at RAK College of Nursing, University of Delhi. She is now working as a faculty member at the College of Nursing, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. While doing her Masters in Nursing she developed an interest in the migration behaviour of nurses. She has written on this issue in a number of places. She is currently in the process of extending her research to the study of the lives of nurses who have gone through the experience of migration.
