Dr. Nimfa B. Ogena Print E-mail


dr nimfa ogenaDr. Nimfa B. Ogena received her Ph.D. in Sociology and Demography at the Pennsylvania State University. She is currently a professor of Demography at the University of Philippines. Her research interests include: migration trends in Southeast Asia, reproductive health, family health, and aging. Dr. Ogena has done consulting work for international and governmental organizations such as the International Organization for Migration, United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) and the Government of Philippines. Dr. Ogena is currently one of our Philippines research team members, responsible for conducting the in country study on the migration of health personnel from Philippines to destination countries.
