Biography

Dr. Anita Alero Davies is a Public Health Physician. She earned her medical degree at the College of Health Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Nigeria. She has a MSc in community health from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland and a Masters in Public Health from University of London, United Kingdom (UK). Dr. Davies has several years experience of working in Public health with NGOs and international organizations in Africa, The UK and Switzerland. She is currently a public health specialist at the International Organization for migration Head quarters in Geneva. She is the focal point for migration health and development. She covers issues relating to managing the migration of health workers and public health aspects relating to migrant health. She has authored and co-authored several articles on public health issues in peer reviewed journals. She is a member of several interagency technical working groups addressing issues that relate to migration and health.
